Position Description/Responsibilities:
Daily Tasks include but are not limited to the following:
Test the applications and provide problem resolution support:
1. Review business requirement documents developed by the Implementation/Data Analysis teams. Refine requirements and understanding of them through participation in User Story meetings and Joint Application Design sessions (JAD).
2. Create test cases for each use case for a given requirement - logically ordering tests steps in the sequence an End User would perform them in. Execute test cases when solutions are promoted in application.
3. Review defects repository - update any related test cases and test once defect resolution is promoted to application. Document any issues found while testing in defect repository and update work flow status.
4. Execute test cases for data refreshes – including various protected health information security tests and data reviews for sanity checks.
5. Participate in daily SCRUM meeting and support the AGILE methodology used by OMH for our system development life cycle.
6. Review IT problem ticket queue for new and updated tickets. Act as liaison between Implementation and IT teams to resolve problems and communicate with End Users – close tickets when resolved.
7. Lead weekly review meeting with Implementation Team, Architect and Project Manager - of problem ticket status and resolutions. Update problem ticket repository as needed and review all tickets closed since last review – for proper handling and best practices development.
8. Document applications in release notes, security documents and other IT team documents.
Position Requirements/Technical Skills:
Mandatory Requirements:

5-7 years experience developing and maintaining user and technical documentation and project process documentation for Application Teams. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding the user’s view of applications and /or technology and will be able to put procedures in a logical sequence. 
The following Requested(Desirable) Qualifications are not mandatory and candidates that do not fit all of the following,  are still strongly  encouraged to apply.

  1. 60 Months Demonstrated work experience managing problem ticket queues and trouble-shooting software/hardware issues - using enterprise problem ticket software. 
  2. 60 Months Demonstrated work experience communicating with IT and business partners to resolve application problem tickets and establish best practices; and, appropriately communicating resolutions to End Users. 
  3. 48 Months Demonstrated work experience answering End Users “How To” questions and successfully closing assigned tickets.
  4. 48 Months Demonstrated work experience providing hardware support for Windows based applications on desktops/laptops.
  5. 24 Months Demonstrated work experience with handling Health Care information that is specially protected – HIPPA Protected Health Information (PHI).
  6. 24 Months Demonstrated work experience developing Test Case for discerned Use Cases for a given requirement. 
  7. 12 Months Demonstrated work experience using the AGILE framework with SCRUM methodology.
  8. 12 Months Demonstrated work experience testing Decision Support Engine(s).
  9. BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution. A copy of the degree must be submitted with the Candidate Response Form.
